Welcome to the Black Springs Community Association

With an enthusiastic executive committee and 50-plus members, the Black Springs Community Association Inc is moving forward with exciting plans for the village and wider community.

We are passionate about the history of our area and over the next couple of years we are hoping to build our information and photography display and continue with hosting heritage days. The heritage days will allow the public to come back and explore old historic sites of the area and meet up with past residents. Unfortunately, COVID 19 restrictions have prevented us from holding a second Heritage festival for 2020, but this will be explored further for next year.

We also are making improvements to our village and will be applying for grants in the hope to have a new toilet block built on our sports ground and also have the toilets in our Community Hall upgraded.

We have successfullly lobbied our Federal Minister, Andrew Gee for a mobile tower in our village. Once erected this tower will service the immediate village area.
